National Seal Sanctuary

It was tough to actually choose only two modules when all of the modules offered are interesting! Marine Conservation and Biodiversity is definitely not the one I would ever give up! We had different experienced ecologists/biologists/conservationists from Atlantic Whale Foundation, Marine Conservation Society and Natural England to share with us about who they are, what they do and how we can get involved. Being able to be a part to help the nature and biodiversity is really self-satisfying! Bear in mind, nowadays, volunteering is costly but the experience is not something money can buy!

We had a field trip to the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, Cornwall. The weather was amazing when we were there! The sanctuary helps to rehabilitate sick and injured seals. They have sea lions and penquins too! Seeing people putting so much effort and care on these animals, it is just touching!! We were only there for a couple of hours but I learned a lot and took lots of photos too!!

A picture speaks a thousand words but a video speaks a million words!!!
